Travel Bloggers/Writers are a unique breed of people, part explorer, part chronicler, all insatiable curiosity. But we are not all the same. Travel Bloggers have as many unique interests as there are places to visit around the globe. And TBEX is the perfect place to share your blog, pictures, experiences and to ask questions.

THE ANNUAL EVENT:::

Food, fun and great speakers will abound at our second annual event for new media travel writers to network and learn,
TBEX '10 will be held June 26-27, 2010 in New York City. Event host Kim Mance and the event organizing committee are planning a dynamic and useful lineup of in-depth workshops and inspiring plenary sessions.

PULLING THE STRINGS:::

Kim Mance is founder of TBEX & host of TBEX'10. Based in Chicago, IL she is editor of Galavanting an online travel magazine and co-host of its web TV series, which produces fun & unique destination episodes around the world. Some of her travel writing can also be found in places like MarieClaire.com's Travel Diaries and The Huffington Post. She has lived abroad, loves traveling, and has visited 27 countries...so far.

Shanna Quinn is a contributing editor at Galavanting and one of TBEX's event producers. Based in Chicago, IL, Shanna is also a contributor to GapersBlock.com. She likes lattes, going barefoot, when public transit is on time (not that it happens…ever) and of course traveling! She can be found online at ShannaQuinn.com

Maren Hogan is co-host of Galavanting.tv. She is also a marketing professional who was bitten by the travel bug right after college. Maren serves as the marketing arm of Galavanting Productions and as TBEX's producer, handling advertising and new media opportunities. You can read about her travel adventures on TBEX, GoGalavanting.com & about her marketing career at Marenated.com. Maren lives in Omaha, NE (yep) with her husband and three beautiful boys.

Carrie Williams is author of the award-winning travel blog, Gettin' Carried Away. Based in Chicago, she also writes for several online travel magazines and websites. Carrie is the TBEX Community Manager.
