Bid Bali Winner Comment by Bid Bali Winner on December 7, 2009 at 6:24pm
Imagine how many people ask hotels for the cheapest rate and then say "thank you I will think about it".
How frustrating is that to a hotel?. Do you think any hotels take those requests seriously? - Not many!

So make a bid on your favourite room and find out. There is no harm in trying and you could surprise yourself.

Everyone is a winner at www.MyRoombid.com!

I would really like to start freelancing, but for now I'm working on building up my blog on India holidays.

Hi, I work as the English editor for an Italian travel company which can be found at www.italyitalia.com We have a network of travel writers based in the regions of Italy and are looking to extend the network to include Emile Romagna, the Dolomite area (ready for the winter skiing season), Valle D'Aosta and Liguria. You must be English or Italian and LIVE in the region you are writing about. We expect four articles a month and in return we give you a profile page, help publicise your articles, a small payment (at this stage) of 50 euros per month and offer training about writing for the internet and will give you feedback to improve your writing and search engine presence. If interested, or know someone who may be, please can you contact me on s.collins@italyitalia.com telling me why you want to write articles for us on your region and a little about some of your writing experience. Thank you

I'll quickly second Aly and John's skills: they created the custom RSS icons on the Indie Travel Podcast sidebar.

Hello fellow travelers and bloggers!

We just would like everyone to know that we are settled temporarily in sunny Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, and our officially opening up shop for our graphic design business. We are currently in the process of adding our portfolio on to our blog. We are working on few off line projects now but wanted the crowd at TBE to be the first to know, as this group has been very helpful to us since we started traveling and blogging full time four months ago. We can create custom icons (the twitter bird and RSS, as well as header on our blog are all custom), illustrations, banner ads, you name it!

Cheers! Aly and John the crew from Hop & Jaunt

Hello, all!

As a former journalist and current travel blogger, I've long thought I'd enjoy working as a travel agent/advisor. Now, due to some recently-changed circumstances, I'm in a position to actually pursue that as a career. Suggestions/recommendations welcome, please!

Ideally, I'd like to work in the Pacific Northwest of the US, but am open to any ideas that might get me into the industry.

Regards,
Carl

Hey, its great to see something like this and would help a lot to a mass amount of travelers. Often it is felt that the necessity of money is related with travel and this things can really help. Hoping to help more. Keep up the good work.

I've been looking for an editorial intern. It's an unpaid position, and although it would be good for a newbie who wants to learn about online publishing and be mentored, I would consider anyone at any level who just wants another entry for their resume and more hands-on experience working with the gizzards of a web site.

Here's the internship description:
