Hmm. I didn't get an email. Or a message from linkshare.

I don't check my messages thru the affiliate messaging system and I rarely look at the ones that come into my email. I received an email from kayak.com.

Hmm,I got an email from Kayak, not linkshare. I haven't actually heard anything from Linkshare about it yet.

But I agree- changing during a busy travel season may have been a bad call.

Jody, did you get an actual email? Or do you have time to check your messages through the affiliate message system on a regular basis? I don't, I count on the affiliate communicating through email.

The fiasco is: They changed affiliate servers but only notified users through the linkshare message system, they didn't send out an email. So it was yesterday when they discontinued the affiliate links from linkshare that a lot of us publishers noticed that their links to kayak no longer worked.

Major site change during the holidays = BIG FAIL!

And travelfish just released an iphone app a few days ago that used those bum kayak links. ...

I haven't switched my links yet but I did get the notification that they are no longer with Linkshare. I'm not sure that it's a fiasco, though.

Are your links working? Did you get a notice that they are no longer with linkshare?

I am a Kayak affiliate; not sure what you mean by fiasco... But I haven't been following closely.

Is anyone else caught up in the Kayak fiasco?

@Aaron and Georgie Thanks a lot! We are working really hard to expand our destinations and give our costumers the best treatment. Please give me a feedback if you choose Clickbed ;)
